Mark has been involved in the public safety industry for more than 30 years. His career began as a police officer in 1982 holding the positions of patrol officer, criminal investigator, and administrative Captain. In 2002, Mark was appointed as the Emergency Operations Director for the City of Dyersburg, which includes management of the City’s 911 Center. He has held an instructor certification through the Tennessee POST Commission and has instructed police departments and 911 communications centers throughout the mid-south in various law enforcement and 911 topics. Mark has been a presenter for APCO and NENA National Conferences and has written numerous articles that have been published in various law enforcement and emergency communications magazines.
