Mike Kennedy is a patrol officer and chaplain for Hobbs PD in New Mexico. He is a retired senior minister and currently teaches as adjunct professor for New Mexico Junior College in Hobbs, NM. Mike has also held the position of administrative minister at Broadway Church of Christ in Lubbock, TX. He also taught Ethics, Leadership, and organizational management at Lubbock Christian University in Lubbock, TX. Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts from College of Charleston in Charleston, SC. He also has a Masters from Clemson University and a Masters from Lubbock Christina University. Mike is certified as a New Mexico Law Enforcement Officer from the South Eastern New Mexico Law Enforcement Academy in Hobbs, NM. He is a Board Member and Past President of the Conquistador Council of the Boy Scouts of America, a member of the NM Department of Health’s Crisis Support Team, A member of the Intervention Sub-Committee of the Lea County Community Drug Coalition, and a member and Senior Chaplain of the International Conference of Police Chaplains.
