About the Course
This course is designed to address close range knife attacks against officers. The phenomenon is becoming increasingly more common today and is often seen in warrant services, domestic calls, and other officer/subject interactions. Through a series of skill building training methods, this course will help develop functional, usable, and repeatable skills for the everyday officer. Our focus will be on teaching training methods, tactics, and techniques that are simple and direct.

Nik Farooqui
Nik Farooqui is a Chicago/Dallas based instructor, author, and expert in Personal Defensive Tactics. His 25+ year background in martial arts studies, nearly 20 years of teaching/training, and seminars around the globe have earned him international acclaim in the industry. Nik's expertise and above-the-rest approach earned him publishing in magazines such as Black Belt Magazine, SWAT Magazine, and more several times. He's also one of less than a dozen experts across the United States who has had the privilege of working with a variety of local and Federal Law Enforcement Agencies, personnel from Military Special Operations groups, and CEO's of Global Corporations.
