Through this course, we will examine statistical data regarding the overrepresentation of racial minorities as victims, offenders, and defendants in the criminal justice system. We will attempt to determine whether, and to what extent, there is racial discrimination in police officers’ decisions to arrest or to use excessive/deadly force.
PREA First Responders Duties, Protocols and Investigations

The duties of the first responder are one of the critical components to protect the alleged victim from further abuse and provide a safe and secure environment.
